The History of Alderson Tractor

   In the late 1990’s, we gathered up a few small parts at auctions and had a couple of old Farmall parts tractors.  We started advertising in 1999 in old tractor magazines and things seemed to move. I drove a semi full time, but in a short period of time; there was not enough hours in a week to do both.  In the late fall of 2002, things changed at my place of employment.  So with the aid of a friendly banker, we went full time in the tractor and parts business.  Also at this time we started taking on aftermarket parts companies for all makes and models of tractors.  By the fall of 2005, we had nearly 200 tractors in the yard for salvage and sale, all vintage farmalls.  Today, the start of 2008 we have nearly 20 companies that supply us with new and rebuilt parts.  We can deliver parts anywhere in the United States in 1 to 5 days normally.
